(Parade Starts 1pm) Unfortunately, the fact that our “Webteam” has been extremely
understaffed, leaving this website very “out of date”,
and a difficulty making contact with the “Carnival Commitee” has
meant that we have not given any publicity to this event. We are in
the process of bringing “Chapel-en-le-Frith.com” back to
scratch, and resolve to do better with Carnival news in the future. Your help would really be good, please take a look
round the site and contact us with any news, advice, information or
corrections you
may have. WE WANT YOUR INPUT! Besides the Carnival Parade on Saturday there is also: Pet Show

Post Offices
We understand that some of our local post
offices are under threat of closure, the Government takes away their
services under the mantra of "competiton" and gives it to
the money barons who give us, the punters, lousy service, then claim
that Post Offices are doing no business and must close.
This lot are supposed to be socialists, we hope all our readers will
bear in mind these actions when they (eventually) get a chance to vote.

Chapel Guides
A cheque for £190 from Chapel-en-le-Frith Parish Council has boosted
maintenance of Chapel Guide Hall.
