Channel 5 Next?

What about a campaign for Channel 5? asked local residents, pointing out that not only does the area not yet receive this, but also the Freeview Digital service is not available locally. Does anyone have an interest in campaigning on these issues?

Like The New Website Idea?

Chapel-en-le-Frith.com website has achieved the campaign objective of getting enough registrations of interest to get BT to "enable" our exchange and is now "evolving" into a community site to give views, information and assistance about "Chapel". Articles and ideas are welcome.

Chapel Carnival 2008
Sat 14th June
(Parade Starts 1pm)

Unfortunately, the fact that our “Webteam” has been extremely understaffed, leaving this website very “out of date”, and a difficulty making contact with the “Carnival Commitee” has meant that we have not given any publicity to this event. We are in the process of bringing “Chapel-en-le-Frith.com” back to scratch, and resolve to do better with Carnival news in the future.

Your help would really be good, please take a look round the site and contact us with any news, advice, information or corrections you may have. WE WANT YOUR INPUT!

We at Chapel-en-le-Frith.com would like to thank the Carnival Committee and everybody who has worked so hard to make this a great series of events for our community. (Send us an email address won't you!)

Post Offices

We understand that some of our local post offices are under threat of closure, the Government takes away their services under the mantra of "competiton" and gives it to the money barons who give us, the punters, lousy service, then claim that Post Offices are doing no business and must close.
This lot are supposed to be socialists, we hope all our readers will bear in mind these actions when they (eventually) get a chance to vote.

Chapel Guides

A cheque for £190 from Chapel-en-le-Frith Parish Council has boosted maintenance of Chapel Guide Hall.
