The next meeting of Furness Vale Local History Society is on Tuesday 6th September. The speaker is Kevin Whittaker on the subject of The History Of Avro and Woodford Aerodrome. The meeting is at 7.30pm at Furness Vale Social Club, Yeardsley Lane. Non members are welcome and admission is £1 including refreshments.
