Chapel Arts Group are opening a "Pop-Up Shop" in Chapel this October, they are drawing our attention to the wealth of artistic talent in our community, and at the same time giving everyone a chance to join in and learn and develop their own skills.
They are occupying a recently restored shp premises at 73 Market Street, Chapel-en-le-Frith (opposite Morrisons Petrol Station) Starting with an "Opening Ceremony at 9am on Saturday 18th October.
They have a packed schedule over the following couple of weeks including Painting, Well Dressing, working with Textiles, Watercolours, Poetry and Prose sessions, Badgemaking, Childrens Music, Classical Music, Book signings, the list is endless, (well not quite, "all good things and that") Take a look at their planned schedule here.
Lots of local people and organizations are involved, Chapel Ladies Choir, Chapel, Male Voice Choir, Chapel Players, Julia from Patchwork and more, Chapel High School, the Crew at Reading Matters etc.
