Christmas In Chapel Friday 29th November 2019
Chapel-en-le-Frith has looked beautiful in previous years with all the white lit trees above the shops/businesses and some houses.
Paul Robinson will put up a tree, put on the lights and then in January take the tree down. The lights will be stored for next year.
You can of course organise someone independently to put up your tree. Let me know and I can organise the lights that you borrow.
All Your you need to do is provide an electrical supply and a timer so that every tree is lit in the evening until MIDNIGHT. The cost for each tree, including the installation and taking down would be £32. Paul will come and see you to organise your tree and collect the money. His contact number is 07976834781.
WE WOULD LIKE TO SEE EVERY BUSINESS WITH A CHRISTMAS TREE LIT ABOVE THEIR BUSINESS THIS YEAR. It makes the town so much more inviting and attracts more business.
The Christmas Switch on starts at 6.30pm on Friday 29th November at Town End Methodist Church for lighting of the Business Tree and then walking to the Market Place for the lighting of the Parish Tree around 7pm. There will be rides for the children, punch and mince pies and a visit from Father Christmas.
The Parish Council have kindly donated the tree in Town End. The lights are provided by the business associated both for the Town End tree and the trees above the shops. Some light will need to be renewed or extra ones provided. If you are donate £5 or £10 would be great- please send a cheque (made payable to Chapel Business Association) or in cash to Joyce at Hall’s Mica Hardware or online to Chapel Business Association account 836003453 sort code 60-04-18 NatWest. Thank you.
