Ian Clucas is out to paint the town Red.. (and white)
On St Patricks Day Ian wondered what we were all doing, getting so excited about the annual Day of another country! He feels (along with a great many English people) that it’s all well and good having a party on St Pat’s, or St David’s, or celebrating Robbie Burns etc, BUT WHAT ABOUT ST GEORGE??
Consequently he went out and bought a load of Georges Cross Flags, and some broomsticks to put them on , and he wants to put them up on your premises for St Georges Day.
He’s asked Totally Locally Chapel to help and contact everyone on the main streets, (ideally with a Christmas tree bracket) and get them to buy a flag from him (just a measly Fiver), and the guys will come along and put it up for you.
Now come on, what a chance for a celebration on the day of our national Patron Saint, and for all trades-people to help their business, and the Chapel-en-le-Frith, look better, feel brighter and be busier in the English spring sunshine.!
Lots of business will be doing specials for St Georges Day, Rems is chucking out the Spanish food and doing British (or something like that), Traditional Roast Sirloin Dinner at the New Inn, ComputerBits have Car Flags and special prices on Duo Memory Sticks that you can use on both your phone, tablet and computer.
Get involved, ask at Halls Micas Hardware, Handpicked by Henrietta, Ian Clucas Barbers, or ComputerBits.
Lets have a Georges Day Party!
